Biriyani is a 2013 Indian Tamil black comedy thriller film written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. Produced by Studio Green, it features Karthi and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles alongside Ramki, Premgi Amaren, Nithin Sathya, Madhumitha and Mandy Takhar. which marks his 100th film, while Sakthi Saravanan and Praveen-Srikanth handled cinematography and editing, respectively. Filming started in November 2012, lasted for over nine months and took place primarily at Chennai, Hyderabad and Ambur. Plot:Sugan(Karthi)and his innocent friend Parasuram (Premji) chased by group of police while chasing the jump of an unfinished bridge.Then come flash back when they held a party , there sugan and priyanka fight and goes. One day they drink on their way to Ambur for their new branch opening,it is where they meet Varadharajan(Nasssar)as the chief guest. Varadharajan gets impressed with Sugan and invites him for his cocktail party. Sugan and Parasuram get drunk and search for a biriyani shop. There they both get to meet Maya (Mandy Takhar).The very next day they find police cars searching for Varadharajan, who is missing.
