The seventh season of the American sitcom The Big Bang Theory premiered on CBS on September 26, 2013 with two episodes back-to-back. On January 12, 2011, The Big Bang Theory was renewed for an additional three years, extending it through the 2013–14 season for a total of seven seasons. Production for the season began on August 14, 2013.
Plot:-
Penny and Sheldon continue to bond during the summer over missing Leonard. Penny calls Leonard who is partying on the ship and doesn't sound like he is missing Penny. Penny suggests exchanging secrets with Sheldon, then tells him she was topless in an unreleased horror movie. Sheldon admits he has watched it and says Howard found the clip when they had first met, literally the moment after Penny stepped out of the door. Sheldon's "secret" is that he doesn't like YouTube's new rating system. Annoyed, Penny decides to leave, but stays when she realizes she hurt Sheldon's feelings. The two share a rare hug as an apology. In the end, Leonard and his shipmates watch Penny's movie.
Raj goes to a university function and talks to Mrs. Davis, who is recently divorced. Though he initially insults her with his inappropriate statements, he gives a sincere apology, actually talking and connecting with a woman without alcohol. Though Raj insists to Mrs. Davis that he is not hitting on her, he later tells Howard he thinks the two had "a moment".
Amy and Bernadette attend the same biology convention and bond together after they both get hit on in the hotel bar, surprised that men are buying them drinks without trying to get to Penny through them. Their relationship is momentarily strained when Bernadette unwittingly implies Amy's enthusiasm at the matter comes from the lack of romantic affection Sheldon gives her. At the end of the night they make up, although it creates an awkward situation when Bernadette is attracted to a man resembling Sheldon, and Amy to a man resembling Howard.
