The fifth and final season of the American television drama series Breaking Bad premiered on July 15, 2012, and concluded on September 29, 2013 on AMC in the United and Canada. The 16-episode season is split into two parts, each containing eight episodes. The first part of the season was broadcast from July 15 to September 2, 2012, and aired on Sundays at 10:00 pm ET. The second part was broadcast from August 11 to September 29, 2013, aired on Sundays at 9:00 pm.[9] It debuted in the UK and Ireland on Netflix, showing one day after the episodes aired in the U.S. and Canada.
After receiving three nominations, for seasons two, three, and four, the first half of season 5 won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series in 2013.

"Felina" is the series finale of the American television drama series Breaking Bad. It is the sixteenth episode of season five and the 62nd overall episode of the series. Written and directed by series creator Vince Gilligan, it aired on AMC in the United States and Canada on September 29, 2013.

Upon airing, the episode was praised by critics and fans alike, with critics agreeing that the finale lived up to the hype that has been generated around it. In her review of "Felina", Donna Bowman of A.V. Club gave the episode an A rating, writing that, "Walt’s purpose is fulfilled, and he just stops". Seth Amitin at IGN also praised the episode, calling it fully satisfying and awarding it a score of 9.8 out of 10.  Katey Rich agreed with the above sentiments, calling the episode "a deeply satisfying and surprisingly emotional finale". Nick Harley wrote "With its final episode, Breaking Bad cemented itself as essential viewing for fans of all forms of storytelling, presenting a character arc for its protagonist that challenged and rewarded the audience for taking the whole captivating journey with him."
